I'm delighted to share that three of my paintings are included in the Journey through Time exhibition at Emillions Art, the Naples, Fla. gallery on 5th Avenue South.
Emillions Art is located in Naples at 837 5th Avenue South, on the second floor of ArtWalk and above Chops City Grill, overlooking 5th. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and by appointment. Call 239-687-3101 and visit EmillionsArt.com for more information.
My paintings in the exhibition are Tutu, Jump to It, and Fresh Linen. You can see all my “girl” paintings, as they’re called on AmyArt.net.
Thanks to Marlissa Gardner, Emillions Art’s founder/president, and Leslie Vega, Ph.D.,Emillions Art’s director of sales, for curating the show and including my work as representative of the theme. According to Leslie Vega, “Amy’s paintings of the girls bring a feeling of joie de vivre to the Journey through Time show at Emillions Art. These pieces exemplify happiness and a certain lightness that is unique to Amy’s diverse painting style.”

Marlissa said, “The female form has inspired some of the greatest works of art in history from the Venus de Milo to the Mona Lisa. For our summer exhibition, we wanted to do something special, so we assembled a curated collection of interpretations of the female form from past and present art world masters. The new exhibition highlights the beauty and majesty of female figurative art and celebrates women in different passages of life with artworks spanning a century,” she added.
I would love to accompany you to Emillions Art in Naples for this important exhibition, Journey through Time. Alas, I live in Bay Harbor in the summer, June-September. But I’m not complaining! We love it here. Our community is on Lake Michigan and we enjoy the outdoors in spectacular weather. Plus, I have a studio and gallery here on the community’s Main Street. We’re on the verge of Bay Harbor’s prime season and the excitement is palpable. Learn about the Village at Bay Harbor here.
Please let us know if you’re in the vicinity this summer and we’ll plan a visit!
With warm regards, imagination and color.
