I'm delighted that I will exhibit new work at Naples' Arsenault Studio & Banyan Arts Gallery
November 8-11, at 1199 Third Street South in downtown Naples.
The paintings represent new work completed in 2019 in Naples and Bay Harbor, Michigan.
The exhibit's opening reception is November 8, 5:30-7 p.m.
Admission is complimentary and space is limited.
I posted about the Artis-Naples Artist's Studio Tour (below) that was held back in March. It was a great success and you can read about it on my blog here!
More than a year ago, I was invited to be part of the 2019 Artis-Naples Artists' Studio Tour. And here it is! Just days away. The tours of the seven artists' homes and studios are Sunday, March 3 and Monday, March 4 (you select one of the days).
Tickets are $55 for tours of the seven homes and studios on either day. Or, for $10, you can have a ticket to my home and studio only (and pay at my door). Artis-Naples runs the tours very professionally. Parking attendants, registration staff, docents, refreshments. They think of everything.
I will exhibit more than 30 paintings throughout my home and studio and would be so honored if you would drop in. I'll also have a few surprises to share from new creative ventures.
Amy was honored to participate in two of Bay Harbor's big arts events recently. The headline event was the grand opening of the Great Lakes Center for the Arts, a hub for arts for all of Northern Michigan. Amy and Paul Heuerman attended the event at which the Detroit Symphony Orchestra performed.
The excitement continued when Amy was honored to be one of three judges for the annual Bay Harbor Arts Festival. Approximately 75 artists displayed and sold their work. The event drew hundreds of people arriving by car, boat, shuttle, campers and bikes. Amy reports that, "The weather was glorious. The flags were flying their colors and boats bobbed in the harbor. The whole scene resembled a Norman Rockwell painting, like all of northern Michigan."
Amy met many of the artists, and was photographed with the winner, a jewelry artisan. She photographed the show and shares the pictures for you to appreciate the creative spirit of her summer home.
I'm thrilled to announce that my After the Rain painting sold at auction for Bay Harbor's Crooked Tree Arts Center largest fundraiser, D'Art for Art!
Feeling honored that the purchasers hung the painting in a prominent place at the top of their staircase. And how sweet that they shared their pictures with me. (see below gallery)
More exciting news: I was invited to be one of three judges of the annual Bay Harbor Art Festival, held next weekend. Stay tuned!
Happy and grateful to have joined a strong and growing arts community here.

So proud and excited to announce the opening of Amy Art gallery, to be open through the summer on Main Street in Bay Harbor, Michigan, before heading back to Naples. Last night we hosted an open house for Bay Harbor residents and visitors and enjoyed a great turnout of lovely people.
The energy was amazing as art lovers gathered at Naples' The Wine Store for Amy's exhibit of her new work. We hope these pictures will capture the event's spirit for you.
